Try connecting the RGB connector to the external CGA monitor.
You will want to turn off your built-in LCD screen and you
will probably have to fiddle with some dip-switches somewhere
on your machine in order to get it to work.  BTW, there is a
shareware program that enables you to run a program that requires
CGA or above to use on a system having a monitor such as yours
and also on systems having just an ordinary monochrome monitor.
I forgot the name of the program.  I have used the program and
have found that it does work with some programs which require a
CGA monitor or above.
