Does anyone, perhaps that guru of modem stuff Glenn M. have any
idea how to overcome the limitations of a Class 1 modem? True, I
have changed MS-DOS config.sys and the modem init string to be more
compatible with the hardware, but still, I often have problems down-
loading anything at all with this 14.4 modem. Any ideas? I intend
to upgrade the modem after I repair or replace my sister's computer.
Thanks in advance. I was fortunate to be able to download newer
Arachne version with it.
