yes ...
WinME sucks even more than all other windows versions.
Evade it by all means.
WinME is is still based on DOS (which is 'not good' for a multitasking OS)
but the DOS layer is maximally crippled.
M$ wanted to hide it completely, and denies any access to it.
(eg you can't use autoexec.bat/config.sys you can't boot directly into DOS
...)
