Question:

If Windows Me can't boot to DOS, and if it can't deal with
autoexec.bat nor config.sys., then how are you supposed to
remedy problems with your operating system when it dies?
If you need to re-install Windows Me, or if you are going
to have to restore some files from your installation CD-ROM,
then you are going to have to boot to a DOS system floppy in
order to access your installation CD-ROM. Why would anyone
even want to understand Windows Me if he could easily resort
to the sensible alternative of upgrading his system to DOS or
to Windows 95 or 98?

Don't Windows Me!
