System: Pentium MMX 233MHz on MSI socket 7 mobo with AlI chipset
64 Mb of SDRAM recognized by DOS
Setup: Ncache allowed 30Mb

I had just started reading mail, so cache was next to empty.

FINALLY! 3 BETTER WAYS TO VIEW AND PRINT FILES

   Forget Windows' built-in (and hopelessly
anemic) file viewers. You need a better way
to keep an eye on your documents, and Preston
has just the solution: three feature-packed
file viewers that'll make reviewing your
         files a snap.

Turned of images using the tilde hotkey and went to:

http://cgi.zdnet.com/slink?/adeskb/adt1022/2819068:18823614

At the foot of the article are three download links for PCView and two
other viewers.

I went to the first link, read what it said, saw it was 10Mb of file and
used ESC to return to the page with the links.

I went to the second link; on that page they provided a "screen shot" of
what the software would look like when running. I followed that link,
the file was downloaded, and I hit the tilde hotkey to view it. I then
used back arrow, and realized I hadn't turned off images so used tilde
hotkey so the page would load to screen.

I got a black screen ... no warnings, no error messages, no xSwap
problems or anything else showed up... except the "opening screen" for
booting my computer.

I'm always told "we can't duplicate the problem" and I seldom can
remember exactly what I've done before. This time I *know* what I did,
and hopefully someone CAN duplicate the problem and find the 'reboot
bug.'
