As a user of R12 (DOS), I can confirm that R12 works in DOS; in fact, DOS is the only operating system I have on my office computers. Also, R13 (DOS) is the last DOS AutoCad version (If you can tolerate the Windoze-like interface, which I can't!). You may be able to acquire a copy from an authorized user with AutoCad's permission to transfer the user license, but from what I understand, AutoDesk is reluctant to authorize license transfers. If AutoDesk finds someone using unlicensed copies, they are very aggressive in pursuing action against the user. Not only will they try to maximize the fine penalty, but will make the user pay for a copy of the current version. Roger Turk Tucson, Arizona USA
