hmmm ... I find that it is the most friendly archiver. (with its built in
NC like shell)

The only problem is that only the unrar utility is GPLed.
(but neither pkzip nor arj or lha ar GPL ;)

And it has to do much more work ... because the decompression of a RAR
archive is much more complex than zip.
(multimedia archive, recovery records, possibility to embed start scripts
...)

32 KB is absolutely acceptable for me.
PKunzip is bigger.

Maybe RARSoft should also release a unrarjr.exe ?

PS: The ACE archiver tries to mimic rar ...
it compresses better and is slower ...

I wouldn't use it on a 8086 ;)
