i'm new to arachne and to this list, and i hope not to bother you with a question
everyone asks, but if so, maybe you can tell me where to find an answer on the
internet:
i installed arachne on my MS-DOS 6.22 laptop (3/86) and have no problems accessing the
internet by external modem.
only thing is the smtp-funktion (pop3 works).
i cannot send mail (using a @web.de account). it gives me the following error-message:
Mail upload aborted
One or more messages were not uploaded to SMTP server. Possible Reasons:
Mail server is not RFC 821 compatible, or is not SMTP server at all.
You *.TBS files in mail directory are not RFC 822 compatible
Error during TCP/IP connection
User break
i would be very happy, if anyone can help,
