Hello:

I just received an automated reply from an ISP's abuse department
acknowledging their receipt of a recent spam complaint.

The subject header of this email was "<AUTO>{EAI#229-747}SPAM".

When I clicked on the "TRASH" button, nothing happened, other than
seeing the subject line being highlighted in yellow over the
"TRASH" button. The same thing happened when I clicked on the
"MOVE" button. The "ARCHIVE" button worked.

I conducted a few experiments with test emails having this subject
line. The same results occurred. I found also that I could not
send an email message having this subject header from the outbox
by clicking on the "SEND" button. I could send an email message
with this subject line by going to MAIL.HTM and clicking on the
SEND UNSENT MAIL ikon.

I conclude that Arachne does not like email messages having symbols
in the subject line header like those of the message indicated.

I wonder if Arachne doesn't like other kinds of symbols in the
subject header.
