Hiya Gang!
I have a different solution to handling LFNs when I boot my 486DX4 dual-boot system to
plain old DOS. I use my old Directory Wizard file/directory manager, and a set of
tools I found on the net called LFN Tools. I assign whatever hotkey I need for a
particular function (LCOPY, LDEL, LREN, etc.) in my DWCONFIG to write a new DW.COM.
Then, when I encounter a LFN in DOS I can use the needed LFN Tool to do whatever needs
to be done. The download link I followed for LFN Tools was at Rich Green's Freeware
site, but, the URL has been hijacked or something! and his site at www.dosbin.com
isn't accesible. So, if anyone wants a copy of LFN Tools, send me a private email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], or, if I get enough responders, I might post them to my
website at [EMAIL PROTECTED]/index.htm
C U L8R!
