Unfortunatly, the answer is NO. :(( You see, Win-printers are just like Win-modems. Everything is done by the winbloze print program. The Win-printers have no fonts in the printer itself. Therefore, they can not print text. They are strictly "graphics only" printing devices. The Wincrap program creates a graphics file using the chosen Win-font and then sends that graphics file to the printer. About 3yrs ago I purchased a Canon BJC-1000 (win printer) I had to take it back and get a BJC-250 instead.
