Your message(s) made me realize what my problem likely is - aside from
enjoying being a disagreeable old f**t. <G>

I used Lynx as provided online by my NON graphic ISP when I first got
onto the net and had not that much trouble.

I've been using Arachne every day now for at least two years without,
as you point out, a plastic rodent. The cursor keys are fabulous for
me, as is TAB and shiftTAB.

I can either unlearn my Arachne habits or use Lynx in "safe" mode.
