My attempt to make it runnable from PTS-DOS 2000 (FAT16) failed. > By the way, does anybody know how to run Rockwell HCF 56K DataFax PCI under DOS ?;-) > Regards, - -- > Vasily Zatsepin | mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] You mean the demo doesn't work at all on a FAT16 partition? I don't have any FAT32. I have nothing that can display Cyrillic in DOS but might in Linux, haven't set up yet. If the Rockwell PCI modem is a Winmodem, you're out of luck, buy a hardware modem. If the Rockwell modem is a hardware modem, you would have to set up for a nonstandard serial port with the base address and IRQ. Ralf Brown's PCI program ought to find your PCI base addresses and IRQ. Same information can be found in /proc/pci if you run Linux. Arachne installation has some information in DOC\PCIMODEM.HTM from the main Arachne directory. Next question is whether EPPPD will work. Chat or miniterm should dial if you have the correct base address and IRQ. You could also try LSPPP.
