2c worth on Date Time ordering

Normal conventions in the UK are

Time
day/date month year

21:52:23

[23 seconds after 9.52pm]

Thursday, 2nd November 2002

or 2/11/2002 abbreviated

based on the factors that time is counted from where you are. The
logic seems to be it's more important (locally) to know what time of
day it is first, then the day, then the date, then the month then the
year.

Of course there's always a snag! for example 2 secs after 2hrs 2min
a.m. on the 2nd February this year could be written as

02:02:02, 02/02/2002

or abbreviated to

02:02:02, 02/02/02

which we hardy BRITS would understand OK, but some of you in
arachneland, well? GRIN 8>)
