Hello: Currently there is a problem with my POP3 server. I cannot get into my POP3 server with any of my email client programs. All of them except the one provided with BasicLinux will time out and abort the POP3 login attempt after a period of about 15 to 30 seconds. In using the one provided with BasicLinux there is apparently no timeout feature, at least as far as the default settings are concerned. In order to stop the POP3 server login attempt I have found that I have to hit CTRL + C. Is there a way to set a timeout feature for the fetchmail log-in attempts?
