I have never installed it myself, but seen it by friends.
And actually I think its exactly the other way round, easy to install, but
not elegant.
Both friends have switched to redhat.
SUSE is here in austria/germany very popular, because its in german ...
but many people don't like the all mighty YAST ...
some have also tried mandrake ... it's a redhat clone ... but some minor
bugs.
