Correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't any *one* server at the top
is there? Samuel H. was wondering if there was a "Mr. Big" that could
be hijacked or comprimised somehow.

Isn't the DNS system multiply redundant?

Isn't it true that every computer in North America (or any other
geopraphic area) could disappear today and the Internet would still
exist and function?
