Dear List:

Good points about IPV6. Unfortunately, to those of us who still
can't afford a good 1 gig hard drive and 32 Megs of Ram, this seems
like a little useless debate. Go out to find a job using or repairing
low-end computers. My sister looks like she will have a hard time
affording HER OWN ISP service until she is running Win XP on a Pentium
3 or using this "AI" you refer to as Microsoft's new secret OS. Or she
can win the lottery. IPV6 assumes a larger distro of Linux, I think,
but I don't know all the details. Justice Department action against
Microsoft looks like a goner and AOL is the best chance DOS and IPV4
have for any life status. AOL/Netscape look too weak to me. That is
Big League stuff. Bill Gates doesn't come to every Mariner game up
here, is what I think. Tell Microsoft no, then.

Yours,

Thomas
