Most of my gear is 12 years old anyway! The interesting results were on a Toshiba 386 laptop (with 387) at 20 Mhz: 28 seconds for the test and 36 seconds for the same speedchk.exe run on an MSDOS 5 Vdisk. My 386 desktop at 25 Mhz took 23 seconds for the test, and 33 seconds to run the same program in DRDOS 6 ramdrive. Right now James is trying to run the speed test on an OS2 virtual machine on a newish computer. Bye Kali
