Hi guys!

I have a spare 486 with 16 MB RAM and a 500 MB HD. Please tell me again what
this test is about and what I need to do.

Laptop indeed, monochrome LCD screen without backlight.

What do I do with this thing?
Amateur packet radio in DOS }
RTTY (telex) in DOS } communication modes by the ether
Hell in DOS                 }

Programming EPROMs, PIC-processor and the like using printerport and/or
COM-port
Keying transmitters for testing or beacon mode

BASIC programming and testing

Text editting in the garden in the summertime, using WordStar or Q-edit.

Not enough memmory or speed for serious internet activities.

For most programs this laptop must be booted with DOS 5.0
