    Perhaps Kali should have explained.

"Claytons" relates to an advertising campaign in Australia for a
product that claimed to have the flavour, but not the alcohol, of
something that you mix with soft drinks -
"The drink I have when I'm not having a drink"

The campaign as a total disaster - nobody could buy the stuff for
laughing at it. But it has entered everyday speech in Australia. So
anything that has pretensions to some quality, but is a fake, is called
a "Claytons" item.

So, if you like, Windows (3x and higher) is a "Claytons" Mac OS, so
to speak.

Regards,
         Ron
