Better 386 and 486 machines post 1993 were designed assuming the use of the Windoze GUI and therefore had a windows graphics accelerater chip in the video system. Basicaly a floating point unit dedicated for video use. This made a big difference, if the software supported it. How feasable would it be to use this hardware in Arachne. I'm just interested.
