You two are talking about two different progs with similar names. The Jan Patera's PictView is the better of the two (IMNSHO), and is at: http://www.pictview.com I have v1.94. Wolfgang Wiedmann's PV (Picture viewer) is at: http://www.multimediaware.com/pv and has a more "clunky" looking interface, but also has a lot of CLI configuration options. I have v2.78.
