Cheeze, I didnt think of posting it yet, just got the kinks worked out so that it would work on a win 98 last nite. Since you are so familiar with coding, you want just the executable/batch ware to try on any ascii text?
If so, I can send FOLD.EXE with. If you reformat any ascii with the right margin at 39, you can use FOLD.exe to output a paginated copy with the page breaks at 49 (room for a statline) or 50 (50x80 vga). Then tinker with the BATCH to plug in the right filename. That's prolly about 100k. Or- could send 500k selfextracting RAR, which includes a sample text, 4 illustrative .jpg, and- hopefully the FILE_ID.DIZ instructions are clear enough and the install batch works. That would create the c:\RAJ directory, copy the files into it, and copy a batch program to the path that will in turn call the presentation batch program. win 98's dos prompt shows 'syntax error' between screens, but it runs anyway. DRDOS runs so much faster, that even if there, you'd never see them. Been a bitch trying to get batch code that works with both versions of dos. If you and LD thinks it works, then I guess the next step is to post it at survpc, cause it shouldnt be any problem for a 486, or anything with a VGA; although displaying a jpg might need patience.
