Thanks for the info, Thomas.  Any so-called ISP that requires any
particular operating system or software for access is just an
online service.  BTW, I have a very young nephew who connects to
M$N.COM with a Windows ME machine.  He says it works fine with ME,
and I have observed him using the service with his machine.  It does
certainly seem to work fine with ME.  He doesn't know anything about
MSN.COM's compatibility with other OSes.

I wonder if one can use NetScape or Opera with M$N.COM.

I wonder if one can use Telnet or SSH with M$N.COM.  Maybe you can,
but perhaps only with $pecial client $oftware that is "Micro$oft
approved".
