Clarence, I did what Ron Clarke said; looked for a file with a wierd name in the default download directory (I:\ara171\download\) on my computer and found it empty, with only a zero length file named, "!".
I went to Arachne.cfg, and found that the default download path was renamed, "I:\arachne\download\". Now, there is no directory on my computer named Arachne, so, where did the saved page go to??? Let me correct Arachne.cfg and see what happens. BRB Did 4 tests: Saved home page as: 912test.htm to default download directory ARA171\download\ 912test2.htm to default download directory ARA171\download 912test3.htm to I:\ 912test4.htm to L:\ (my RAM drive) Did NOT use mouse at any time! Did a dir of all 4 locations *before* exiting the internet! No file in any location! (Did a whereis 912*.htm c l) ZILCH, NADA, NOTHING! But, Arachne.cfg was not changed this time!
