  Thank you. :)

I just thought that Michael isn't the only one who likes Mandelbrot
graphics. :)

At my age, I am allowed to play the fool, once in a while. :)

Sorry about that. I should have posted the size as well. :(
Apologies to all.

Possibly. All I did was put a Mandelbrot .GIF into the main Arachne
directory and edit the dial-page to call it instead of the default
graphic. So to do the same, you are only looking at the extra time Arachne
takes to render the bigger graphic. For me it is less than a second, but
this machine is an AMD K6 and runs at 400 MHz.

Yes, I will. I found it downloaded as a page full of "binary text",
too. Fortunately, the guy who owns the server is a friend of mine, who
has also given me my own domain for free, but unfortunately it can take a
long time for him to get around to actually doing things like that, such
as mending my domain mail administration. But he is close to the
internet backbone in Oz, so downloads are relatively quick AT MY END.

FWIW: The graphic (and I have heaps more) was generated by FRACTINT, a DOS
generator of Mandelbrot graphics (freeware), that has built-in screen-save.
I think I got it from Garbo, but I still have the original ZIP and I can
post it (587,829 bytes).

Regards,
        Ron
