Glenn, Adding date would help sort things out possibly, but I have a suggestion: Instead of spelled month use hex like I do in my file extension on documents:
Oct_06,2002 would become A062002, whereas July_06,2002 would be 7062002 .. It's not to keep secrets or have an "in crowd" -- although they are the ones most likely to need the info -- but to maintain a standard string length for the date variable. l.d. ==== On Wed, 09 Oct 2002 20:13:11 -0400, Glenn McCorkle wrote: > Please, > Have a look at the "mailer" line in the header of this message. > ;UE == User Edition. > and .glennmcc to indicate who compliled this particular core.exe > Comments, suggestions... > Do you like this idea or not? > Should I also add the date it was compiled? > Arachne V1.71;UE.glennmcc-Oct_06,2002 -- Arachne V1.70;rev.3, NON-COMMERCIAL copy, http://arachne.cz/
