My suspicions were correct.

Cause and cure found.
Bug squashed. :)))

New SFX and ZIP files have been uploaded and are ready at

For those who have already D/Led and installed.....
Here's how to fix the copy you have with reinstalling.

Edit wwwman.cfg (located in your arachne_main directory)

Change this line:
*CDROM CDROM.IKN

(change the name of the IKN file)
*CDROM CDROMDRV.IKN

You will also need to rename
arachne_main\system\ikons\cdrom.ikn to match this change.

It may be necessary to reboot your system without the CDROM drive loaded.

When I tried to rename the file on my drive while
the CD was loaded, it would not allow me to do so.

What seems to be happening is that the filename 'CDROM.IKN'
is being interpreted by command.com as the device driver 'CDROM'

Changing the name to 'CDROMDRV.IKN' prevents this.
