Ricsi, I have not been ignoring your question, but trying to find the answer. In the Dalco catalog (www.dalco.com), there is a USB (male) to DB9 adapter cable (#67784) and a USB (male) to modem adapter cable (#64132) running in price from about $30 to $35. USB gender changers are also available, running about $6.
I'm sure that I saw adapter cables the other way around and will look for them. (If a cable will convert signals one way, it should also convert them the other way.)
