hmm...well...I'm trying, L.D., et al....<g g g> These below quotes indicate that the problem is when Arachne is run, some way or another, as-part-of-or-associated-with a Win98 or Win95 installed system.
Cristian says under DRDOS7.03-straight it's okay, but under W98 it doesn't. We also need to note the different (1.70r3 and 1.71ue01) versions of Arachne. Ray's problems descriptions are similar, but still different, and Ray doesn't tell us what version(s) of Arachne he is using. I cannot try to confirm/etc Ray's description, since I have nothing to do with Arachne on any Winzzdozz.. See my previous reply to Laurie's post about "we have established" ..etc...since, now, these two posts "disestablish" some other things.
