Well,
No crash on Arachne 1.66 either...3 loads of Your Computer,
from both Desktop, then access one of the hard drives,
click on "//" ikon, repeated twice...no crash or freeze.
It did take it a few seconds to finish listing all the junk
I've got on my C: drive, hehe...hmmm, maybe it is something
to do with WHAT drive you have Arachne installed on??? This
machine has Arachne installed on D: drive...a second partition,
and not on the "primary" partition. Perhaps by having Arachne
on a "secondary DOS partition" I prevented the problem with
DOS 7X and it's disk "lock" in regards to LFNs??
That's about all I can tell you at the moment. OK, any of
you users who experience this crash have your Arachne installed
on a secondary DOS partition? Or, do all of you have her on
your primary bootable partiton (usually C:)?
