1.  Getting rid of Arachne's communication capabilities can be 
done rather quick and dirty.  
TENTATIVE SOLUTION:
Pull the components and pages that deal with communication/connection.
Arachne has one mode "No Connection to the Internet..:(((" (yes, it
shows a picture of a sad frown).
2.  Use the rest of the package as a viewer.
TENTATIVE SOLUTION:
NONE - It will work as a viewer.  As far as working as a frontend
to that Database, I don't know.  We'll have to check.  See just
WHAT that database is.
3.  Michael Polak will need to approve distributing a reduced 
package, but he shouldn't mind.  He might even give it his own
"stamp" with a new derivative name - hmmm - maybe Arachnette..??
