Stripping out the comms stuff would be possible, given the source. If I ever do come across the source, I'll have a go at it and add a scripting facility for HTGET, or in my case, YAN. I'm not holding my breath, though. As for the DB, that's of no interest to me so I've no views on it, I'm afraid.
