Dear list: I have been trying for weeks to get a DOS CD burning to happen. I dont think I just need to RTFM. Everything works except that all the EXEs in Horvath Istmans excellent looking package keep failing to load the CD and eject it with "not ready or no disk" complaints.
The computer seems to find the Mitsumi CR 4802 TE fine. The ASPI.SYS driver seems OK. The drawer comes out and accepts the CD for combustion - and then spits it out. I am just trying to back up material which seems to make FILE.ISO images fine ready for burning. What might be wrong here please? Do I need to load mscdex.exe or some such?
