I don't think it likes the disk. With this software the burner will run 
at it's maximum speed and finding disks which work is at least as hard 
as finding burners which work. That's assuming that the command is OK 
and the disk the right way up (I know it sounds silly, but OEM disks 
without labels can be confusing).

That may be the batch file, if that's what you're using.

Dunno, in my experience if the drive works under DOS at all it will have 
a go at burning, but the "coaster" count is rather high. High enough 
that I gave up the whole idea when my working burner died and the two 
replacements I tested refused to even admit to being burners at all. It 
all felt a bit too "hit and miss" to be worth the effort to me, but then
I don't have any great need to make CDs.
