I'm lazy about deleting messages and if you have more than a hundred Arachne takes its time making up the index. The one thing that would really make me happy with Insight would be to have it go automatically to the first new message after a download--that way you wouldn't have to scroll down or use other means to get down there with the new messages. Also, there used to be an add-on program for Arachne that would sort mail. Does that still work with the current version? A little sorting would help a lot. Also a more compact layout for the mail index would be useful, that way more emails could be listed per screen and that would speed up the right click and delete procedure. And of course I probably wouldn't complain about Arachne being slow with the mail if I just switched over to the faster machine that's waiting for me to swap in the modem and sound card. <grin> There's nothing like a faster computer to put an old program to work.
