I have always found that LOADHIGH always works better for me for any kind of DOS software. Sometimes I cannot load everything high. Some things cannot be loaded high. I always load high as much stuff as I possibly can. When I can't load everything high it helps to experiment on what is best to load high. >> The DOS versions of PINE are compatible only with IMAP servers. >> They have no support whatsover for POP3 servers. I guess you can't win them all ;-) You can set up and configure the DOS versions of PINE to do email with any IMAP server where you have an email account. There are many services out there which will offer you the use of an IMAP server. Some of these services are for free. Check one of the web pages at the PINE web site for a listing of many of the IMAP servers available. If your ISP doesn't offer an IMAP server, then you can use an IMAP server provided by some other service, even when you are logged in to your own ISP. As I have mentioned earlier, the older types of IMAP servers work much better with the DOS versions of PINE than the new and modern upgraded ones. Of course anything that works just fine before you fix it cannot possibly be expected to work as well after you fix it. Good luck!
