Age has nothing to do with relevance. I like to save things and I
don't like to sort. That's the way I am. I'm not suggesting this
is rational or productive or a good practice to follow. (sorting
and deleting before getting more does sound like good policy)

But that's not what I do. So I want my software to serve me by
behaving the way I want it to.

Sorry you have a problem with people being different and wanting to
do things different than you. Eventually I get around to cleaning out
the inbox a bit. Somethings I plan on leaving in the Inbox forever.
That way I know where to find them instead of wondering what file
they got filed under.
