I don't get the impression that Greg 'has a problem' with it, so-to-speak.

I do think he is simply pointing-out how *he* would do things
if it were *him*. <g g g>

As for 'having a problem' with differences....
Also, no such feeling here with me. <g g g>

In fact, I am quite glad that no two people seem want the
same things out of Arachne.

It's those differences between how each user wants Arachne to work
that keeps me interested and keeps me working on her. :))

BTW Sam,
What do think of my little idea to rename to some other extension ?

Does that do what you need done ?

IMO,
Christof has a great idea with his usage of both inbox.dgi and inboxa.dgi

And since DGIs can be named just about anything we want.
oldbox.dgi, oldinbox.dgi, myoldstuff.dgi... etc... etc...

These will all work just fine as the name of the DGI

Plus, since the Shft+F? keys can be programed to 'call' a DGI

2 lines like this in Arachne.cfg

ShiftF8 file:myoldmail.dgi
ShiftF9 file:markasold.dgi

And then these 3 lines in mime.cfg can do it all automatically
with the pressing just a couple of keys.

file/markasold.dgi >HTM|ren $M*.cnm *.cno \n
 [130]$einsight.exe -i $M*.cnm -cache=$t>$2
(above line broken for emailing)

file/myoldmail.dgi >HTM|[130]$einsight.exe -i $M*.cno -cache=$t>$2

file/.cno >HTM|[130]$einsight.exe $1 -cache=$t>$2
_________

The only draw-back with this method is that the 'Move' button
will not be on screen when we a viewing any of the .cno files.

________

Now.. if all of that is just too much trouble.

1) cd \arachne<enter>
2) ren *.cnm *.cno<enter>

Done <g g g>
