Yes, that's what I assumed. But those fields seem to be saved and restored when I am doing an external edit of a reply? How is this different? And note that the "body of message" field DOES get saved as TEXTAREA.TMP when the external editor is called. Naturally this must occur for the text to be passed to the ext-editor. Couldn't the other fields also be saved to a temporary file, say HEADERS.TMP, and reloaded on return from the external editor? > key words....
