There is a file on the server that keeps all contents of your mailbox
(all messages in a chain, like in mail folders on your local hard disk
with Netscape Mail or some other e-mail clients; Arachne is an exception).
When you send 'DELE n' command to the PO3 server, n-th message is
removed from that mailbox file and no backup copy of it is created,
as far as I know.

I don't think it's possible. At least it's much harder than undeleting
a file under DOS.
