I never tried (yes, I did DELTREE C:\WINDOWS a few times, when I needed to reinstall it from scratch, but always after booting from diskette). I think it won't work (won't complete its job) when executed from DOS window, because there are files that cannot be deleted, as they are in use (e.g., swapfile). Greetings, Michal
