I agree that you could do this -- and could represent it as a forest.

On the other hand, all of the PSARC cases from 1991 to the present
represent 2.67GB of storage (and I didn't even trim the ONSC detritus
from that).  The current Mercurial gate for ON is 765MB and SFW is
4.6GB ... so we're perhaps not talking about a "lot" of data.
