+1 for those obvious two. > > The following are ARC interns who are nominated for Core Contributors > of the Architecture Process and Tools community: > yippi, Brian Cameron While I like Brian and think he'd be a great person to represent us, I'm concerned about what policies we might already have set in place equating CC to Full Member. As an Intern, Brian doesn't have a vote in ARC cases, so I'm not sure that it makes sense to extend a governance vote to him (at least from this community). (That said, I do believe that Brian has amply earned CC status in other communities such as gnome,/desktop, but I don't know what such grants he might or might not have received.) Personally, I believe that Brian contributes significantly and ought to be a full LSARC member, but my opinion here isn't terribly meaningful since I'm not an LSARC member myself. So, I'm with-holding a +1. I am _not_ saying -1, but I *would* like to have a clearer statement about what the policy here is about CC vs. Full Member for the ARC community. If Brian is either promoted to full LSARC membership, or if we determine that its OK to extend CC grants to Interns, then at that time I'll offer up a +1. I have no such reservations about a Contributor grant for Brian, and hereby nominate him for one in the event that he doesn't already hold one. > > The following are ARC licensees who are nominated for Contributors of > the Architecture Process and Tools community: > sarito, Terry Whatley > alib, Ali Bahrami +1 for the above C grants. > > All have agreed to the responsibilities here: > http://wiki.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/OGB_2009/007 > > Can I get a +1 from any exiting Core Contributors? -- Garrett > > Thanks, > > -- mark > > > > > _______________________________________________ > arc-discuss mailing list > arc-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/arc-discuss
