Fair enough. My day job makes me think that anything that makes such a
dent on maintainability is also a concern - but I don't write
emulators where the priorities are different :-) [Fasterer is
definitely betterer, agreed!]

Oh yeah. I'll blame trying to get familiar with a new codebase, rather
