This is with plasma Wayland, while a usable desktop is obtained with plasma-x11 (with a few troubles regarding the touchpad). After reverting to the older versions of all these packages, a usable Wayland desktop is obtained. It's hard to tell which one(s) is(are) responsible. Maintainers will have a better idea.
