One more time a newbie question !
I have installed somme packages coming from AUR with no problem.
But I tried to install "eukleides".
makepkg fails because md5sum for eukleides-1.5.4.tar.bz2 is not the one in
PKGBUILD.
is it the right method to contact the maintainer ? Or something else to do ?

It seems that the file is completely gone: the upstream no longer
hosts this.
If you have an AUR account, the best option is to post a comment
directly on entry’s page. Otherwise you may contact the maintainer over
email (see the first line on PKGBUILD) or, if even that fails, try the
aur-general mailing list.
As a temporary solution for yourself, the file has been archived in
2022 on Wayback Machine.⁽¹⁾
