No, I have been using 2.6 for a while.

As I mentioned, this only appeared a few days ago. Usually I have a ssh 
session open to this machine at all times ... I ran 'pacman -Syu' a couple 
times during this. However, upon rebooting my workstation, obviously I had to 
close the ssh session. I have not been able to log back in since. 

But it doesn't matter as I have fixed it....

It was for sure a bash problem. I ran 'ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] zsh' which gave me 
access 
to zsh, where I was able to run 'pacman -Syu' again, and update bash.

All is right in the world again...
