Works quite fine for DAEMONS here.

Any idea what exactly triggers these keyboard problems? 
http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145606 sounds like it's really an
xorg problem, while
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=285098 contains some
more hints, including a possible relation to the number of VTs used.
I am havong 6 VTs in my inittab, do you people experiencing by any
chance have more?
